Phase

This first project phase defined the key performance indicators and required inputs for the Life Cycle Performance Assessment (WG2). It provided a short list of critical technologies relevant for the application cases (WG3), specified the key requirements for the integrated modelling (WG4) and specified typical operational scenarios and base values for application cases (WG5). The phase was coordinated by WG4 and concluded by month 6.

Milestone (Month 6)

The decisive results that were provided at the end of this phase included a ranking of critical technologies and their relevance for the ACs, the definition of the framework and necessary interfaces for the modelling and the life cycle assessment, and the agreed success criteria for the application cases.
